Sony Pictures Television Networks - Asia, has appointed Sunil Punjabi in the newly created role of Business Head, India. Punjabi, based in Mumbai, will lead the company's local team in all business functions. He will report to Ricky Ow, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Networks, Asia, Sony Pictures Television, who is based in Singapore. Prior to joining Sony Pictures Television Networks, Asia, Punjabi worked at Cinemax India, where he served as Chief Executive Officer from 2010. Prior to that, he worked at Multi Screen Media, where he was Senior Vice President for Business Development. He has also worked at Fame India, Fashion TV India, and Zee Telefilms. **** Kushal Sanghvi, managing director at Spiider Digital Hub (formerly Concept Digital), has quit the company to start Span Digital the specialised digital arm of Delhi-based Span Communications, reports Afaqs. Sanghvi will head Span Digital as the Chief Executive officer of the company. Span Digital is a full service agency and is venturing into the digital space. Sanghvi had joined Spiider Digital Hub in May 2011 and has previously worked with the mobile technology and marketing firm StratosHear Technologies, as executive director, business development, media and alliances.
