Naukri Reports Rs 31.78 Crore Profit, Rs 105.98 Cr Sales For Q1-FY13

Info Edge Ltd, which owns Naukri.com, 99Acres, Jeevansathi.com, Shiksha.com, among others, on a conslidated basis, reported a Net Profit after tax of Rs 31.78 crore for the quarter ended June 30th, 2012 (Q1-FY13), up 24% from Rs 25.6 crore reported for the corresponding quarter, last year. Net Sales were Rs 105.98  crore, up  22.3% from Rs 86.6 crore that it recorded during the same quarter last year. According to the results filing, Info Edge has utilised all the proceeds from its IPO. It had raised Rs 170.36 crore from the IPO. Download: Financials Earnings Per Share for the Info Edge were down 20.4 % to Rs 2.91 per share, from Rs 3.66  per share for Q4-FY12. Note that the company issued 54,590,512 shares as bonus shares in 1:1 ratio, following which the EPS has been adjusted for all periods. The company has listed Rs 0.353 crore, which represents provision for diminution, in the carrying value of investment of  in Info Edge (India) Mauritius, under exceptional item in the quarter ended March 31st, 2012.
