ACL Mobile, a mobile technology company, has launched a human assisted recruitment platform on mobile devices called 'Naukri Bazaar'. The website is still in beta but is accessible at at Naukribazaar.in. Note that CanvasM, another VAS company, deployed similar service for job seekers - Saras Rozgar - on the Tata Docomo network, allowing job seekers to apply for a job through their mobile handsets by dialing a short code 541410 using their Tata Docomo number. Features ACL Wireless has a long code number for Naukri Bazaar: job seekers can dial Naukri Bazaar's call center at 1860-180-6767 to create and register their profiles using their mobile number. While the site seems easier to use with ability to register with just a call, when we tried to register with an email id and password, we couldn't go beyond the registration page even though we had received the activation code on our mobile phone. The company claims that job seekers can leverage on employers' community, however we were not able to verify as to how one could directly get in touch with employers. For the employers, it provides ability to search their prospective candidates to the employers via call feature or the web portal. The company claims that employers can have access to more than 1500 categories of job seekers in organized and unorganized sectors.
