With this partnership RAJ TV bouquet of Channels  in all south indian languages in music, GEC, news and movies. RAJ TV’s network includes: Raj Pariwar (Hindi channel) ,RAJ TV, RAJ News Tamil, RAJ Music Kannada, RAJ Music Malayalam, RAJ Music Telegu, RAJ News Telegu, RAJ NewsX Telegu.

Zenga TV, a mobile TV service to distribute the channel on mobile and tablet devices has partnered with the ETV network to offer 12 channels from the ETV stable to its TV over mobile service. No additional fee is being charged to customers for the channels, and they are accessible on tv.zengatv.com.

ETV Network’s includes regional channels: ETV Telugu, ETV2, ETV Bangla, ETV Marathi, ETV Kannada, ETV Oriya, ETV Gujarati, ETV Urdu, ETV Uttar Pradesh, ETV Rajasthan, ETV Bihar and ETV Madhya Pradesh. At the time of writing this post, all of ETV’s 12 regional channels were already available on Zenga TVs catalog.

ZengaTV is an operator agnostic service and can be accessed through any mobile operators as well as on the web. Presently, Zenga TV offers various channels including Aaj Tak, UTV Movies, UTV Bindas, Headlines Today, 9XM, Sahara Filmy, Delhi AajTak, India TV, among others.Zenga TV also offers movies and reality shows like Players and Fitrat. Apart from that, it offers other products like CrickZenga – a free service that offers realtime coverage of cricket matches  and MediaGroove which provides archived video content across various categories including politics, national, international, entertainment, among others.

Zenga also has a partnership with Disney/UTV owned Indiagames.


Zenga’s primary competitor is Apalya Technologies, which is backed by IndoUS Venture Partners, Qualcomm and IDG, and the last time we checked (it’s been a while), had distribution deals with Tata Teleservices, Virgin Mobile, Reliance Communications, MTS / Shyam Sistema, Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Vodafone, Aircel, BSNL and MTNL.

Recently, Zee New Media, the digital business of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, launched Ditto TV, an online TV subscription service that offers live TV streams and video on demand content on mobile phones, tablets, PCs, entertainment boxes and connected TVs. Geodesic’s Mundu TV also provides a similar live TV subscription service on mobile phones, tablets, and PCs. Percept Knorigin, rather, PK Online, also runs HelloTV, a mobile based TV streaming service, while Digivive has a video on demand service called Videobites.

Apart from that, there are video on demand services like MTS Video Bites, offering Video on Demand (VoD) services via an Android app to MTS mobile subscribers. However, this service is available only to a small segment on Android platform and to MTS subscribers.
