Sify Technologies Limited and Vidyo Inc., a New Jersey (US) headquartered video conferencing company, have announced the launch of Sify Videomeet, a Video Conferencing-as-a-Service for Enterprise and Businesses. The service is powered by Vidyo and allows users to initiate and experience high-definition (HD), multi-point video collaboration without dedicated networks. Videomeet also provides the ability to record the video and it also stores the video on the server, based on the plan the company subscribes to. The recorded video can also be shared with others with a URL. Sify videomeet works on Windows/ MAC/ Linux/ Apple IOS/ Android and can connect multiple devices - Mobile phone (iPhone/ Android), tablets (iPads/ Android), laptops (Windows/ Mac/ Linux), desktops (Windows/ Mac/ Linux), dedicated room systems, and real telepresence systems. Sify also bundles a network plan to access and conduct Video collaboration across multiple offices. The network WAN provided is a private MPLS based VPN.
