Online matrimonial portal MyShaadi.in has raised an undisclosed amount in its first round of funding from the Indian Angel Network (IAN), reports IndiaDigitalReview. Among the investors include Google India MD Rajan Anandan, Sunil Kalra, Ashim Mehra and Rehan Yar Khan. The company intends to use the funds raised to improve the company’s suite of services and strengthen its operations. The funding amount was not disclosed. Launched in February 2011, MyShaadi.in provides a host of marriage related services like providing ethnic website templates, personalized wedding photo albums, E-Invitation cards, and wedding planner services, through three different packages - Silver (Free), Gold (Rs 1000) and Platinum (Rs 2000). It also offers a Titanium package which provides a theme-based custom designed wedding website with colors, and templates of user's choice. The company claims to have served more than 13,000 couples already and hopes to serve over 1 lakh couples by end of 2012. *** Online real estate portal PropTiger has raised $5 million (Rs 25.97 crores) from Accel Partners and SAIF Partners, reports The Times of India. Launched in February 2011, PropTiger acts as an online real estate advisor for first time home buyers. It currently offers two different services, namely Property Advisory and Loan Advisory. Through property advisory service, the company help users buy residential property in original booking from real estate developers. The company claims to have partnered with various real estate developers like DLF, Indiabulls, Unitech Group, and Amrapali among others, in different cities like Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Indore for this purpose.
