OnMobile CFO Rajesh Moorti Puts In His Papers

OnMobile Global has informed that its Chief Financial Officer, Rajesh Moorti has resigned with effect from 23rd December 2011, citing personal reasons. According to a statement from the company, a new appointment has been made and the company intends to make a detailed announcement about it, later this month. We'll update when we have more information. Moorty had joined OnMobile in 2006, after stints with Hindustan Unilever and Sara Lee H&BC UK Limited, and had taken the company public. OnMobile is in the process of making structural changes to focus on international growth, as part of its OnMobile 2020*, a blueprint for a new strategy. Last month, Arvind Rao had stepped down as the Chairman of the board of directors of OnMobile Global, with H.H. Haight, who has been a non-executive director on OnMobile’s board since 2006, taking over.  Rao continues as Managing Director and CEO of the company. Harit Nagpal, the Managing Director of Tata Sky and previously the Group Marketing Director at Vodafone (UK) had also joined the OnMobile board as an independent director.
