Jagran Prakashan has reported financial results for the quarter ended 31st December 2011 with total income of Rs 324.03 crore, a 13.29% increase over Q3-FY11′s income of Rs 286.03 crore. The company’s net profit after tax was at Rs 41.30 crore, a decrease compared to profits of Rs 52.64 crore that it reported in the same quarter, last year. According to a release from the company its operating profits went down by 26.27% YoY from Rs 89.75 crore to Rs 85.12 crore. Highlights: - Digital Revenues excluding advertisement revenues was at Rs 2.32 crore up 15.55% YoY from Rs 2 crore. On the digital side, Jagran has a tie-up with Yahoo India for Jagran.com, it also offers news portals Jagranjosh.com and Jagranpost.com, Online Classifieds business Khojle.in, reverse auction portal Jeetle.com, and also a Mobile Value Added services company called J9 Ventures, through short code 57272.
