Hi, what are you looking for?

Tomorrow, 24rd Nov 2011: TRAI MVAS Open House; Live Blog

The TRAI is hosting an Open House discussion in Bangalore on its plans to regulate/license Mobile Value Added Services in India. MediaNama will be presenting its recommendations, so I’m on my way to Bangalore. We’ll also live blog from the event, so you have an idea of which way each company is leaning. Our stand is pretty clear – no licensing, and there is a need to open up MVAS to allow for more services, more freedom in pricing, in order to increase competition and give customers choice, as well as transparent pricing between what they’re buying, and what they’re paying in terms of access charges.

If you’re there, do come over and say hi.
