Mindshare, the media agency of GroupM has appointed Ashok Lalla as Leader, Digital for Mindshare, South Asia. Based out of Mumbai, he will report to Ravi Rao, Leader, Mindshare South Asia.
Lalla was previously with Euro RSCG, where he was President, Digital, and has worked with clients including Unilever and IBM. Earlier, Ashok was Director of Internet Marketing at Taj Hotels where he was looking after worldwide digital strategy and E-commerce for the hotel chain.
Mindshare had recently promoted R Gowthaman to the position of Chief Client Officer for Asia Pacific region with effect from 1st January 2012. One of its recent digtal campaigns include Virgin Mobile’s Think Hatke.
