Komli Becomes Exclusive Licensee Of Jivox’s Video Platform In APAC

Komli Media, the online ad network has announced its partnership with Jivox, a video advertising platform following which Komli will be the exclusive licensee of the Jivox’s video platform in the Asia Pacific region and will acquire existing publishers and customers of Jivox in India. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. The deal will benefit Komli, since it will get access to interactive video ad formats, and help Jivox reach out to customers in new markets:

– Ad formats: The deal allows Komli to use Jivox platform to run online pre-roll, mid-roll and post-roll video ads along with video banners and mobile video for its advertisers and agency partners across all platforms including online, mobile and all tablet devices.

– Regions: Jivox’s platform will now be available in Australa, South-East Asia, Middle East and Africa, following the partnership.

– Jivox Partners: Jivox’s publishers include AOL, BuzzInTown, BigAdda, CIOL, Business Today, Rajshri.com, ZeeNews.com, OneIndia.in, TimesofIndia, ThinkDigit, BIGAdda, Hindusantimes.com, LiveMint.com, Metacafe, Indian Express, MSN, Sify, Moneycontrol.com, among others. Earlier this year,  Jivox entered into a pact with the Jagran Group to provide video advertisements and monetize inventory in all online properties of Jagran. Komli will acquire all these partners through the deal.

– Komli on a Shopping Spree: Although Komli’s partnership with Jivox is not being dubbed as an acquisition, the company has been on a buying spree, expanding across different sub-segments and regions. Komli had earlier acquired ZestADZ , a mobile advertising platform. It had also acquired Aktiv Digital, a media sales house which has presence in South-East Asia. Komli’s other acquisitions include PostClick, an Australian site representation firm and UK based Indoor Media while its sister concern, Pubmatic, took over ad network optimization platform ReviNet.
