Online ad network Komli Media, has acquired ZestADZ , a mobile advertising platform, part of mobile-worx, a leading mobile marketing company with its headquarters in Los Angeles, USA and operations in Chennai & Mumbai. According to a statement from the company, the acquisition will enable the company to offer digital solutions on the mobile platform, in addition to existing offerings for agencies, advertisers, and publishers, with solutions across display, video, search, and social media. Komli says that it will be able to leverage ZestADZ's mobile advertising and analytics platform across feature phones and smartphone platforms such as iPhone, Android, and Windows Mobile. Following the move, the mobile division of Komli Media, which is headed by Vice President of the company, Amit Bhartiya, will also integrate operations of ZestADZ, and Asif Ali, CEO of the acquired company, will head mobile products. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. ZestADZ was founded in 2007 by Asif Ali, Nat D Natraj and Terry Uppal. It offers advertisers and agencies, targeted mobile advertising campaigns to drive brand awareness, generate traffic and leads, and increase purchase intent amongst other options. It also offers analytics tools to advertisers and publishers to measure campaign efficacy. ZestADZ claims to deliver 5 billion mobile ad impressions globally, each month with customers across USA, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, India, Thailand, Indonesia and South Africa.
