Hemant Sachdev, Joint Managing Director (Consumer and Online Business) Microsoft India has decided to leave the company, reports afaqs. A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed the development independently to MediaNama, but the company wasn't in a position to share details of who will take on Sachev's role. Sachdev has a notice period of 90 days. He had joined Microsoft India from Airtel in 2008 where he was working as the Group Director of Bharti Group. Microsoft consumer business covers software, windows mobile, MSN and Search. Apart from Airtel and Microsoft. Sachdev has worked in McCann Erickson and Foote, Cone & Belding (FCB) where he partnered with global companies, across sectors such as telecom, retail, media, entertainment and communication. Nikhil adds: A fairly uneventful tenure, if you ask me. Does anyone know what Microsoft India does in the online/mobile space?
