You're reading it here first: Tripadvisor India Managing Director Sharat Dhall left the company in April, a Tripadvisor spokesperson has confirmed to MediaNama. Dhall had joined the Expedia group (which owns Tripadvisor) back in 2007, and helped launch the company in India, and was Managing Director of Expedia India when it launched in 2008. We had heard from sources that Dhall had joined Yatra.com as COO, looking into online marketing and products, but Yatra CEO Dhruv Shringi denied that, saying that Dhall is consulting with the company. At the time of filing this report, we haven't received a response to a call and a follow up SMS sent to Dhall.
