mDhil Health Info Services Pvt Ltd, a healthcare content provider haspartnered IndiaGames to provide content for Airtel's SMS based health packs. The service aims at providing information and content on health care and medical care aspects. The subscribers are required to send a SMS to shortcode 54444 and choose from the different available packs. Presently Airtel offers 14 SMS packs priced at Rs 30 per month to Rs 49 month. The service is scheduled to launch in a week. The SMS packs offered by Airtel are currently available in 4 categories: Category 1: The category focuses on women's health with issues pertaining to female teen health, women's sexual health and new mother's health. Category 2: This category is dedicated to Men's health Category 3: This is a disease specific category that would provide information on several diseases like blood pressure, dengue, tuberculosis, Typhoid and others. Category 4: This concentrates on lifestyle with content on weight and diet, beauty and skin care and stress management. Meanwhile mDhil has also started distributing content on online portals like MSN. The company claims to work with physicians, medical researchers and public health proffesionals to develop content. The website offers content on different health disorders such as Sleep Apnoea, hypoglycaemia, piles, blood pressure, diet, fitness, positive thinking, and more.
