Pune based Digital marketing and analytics company Sokrati has raised Series A funding from Inventus Capital Partners. The amount of funding has not been disclosed, but the company intends to use the funds for developing its platform further. Sokrati offers services like scalable search marketing, social media marketing , digital consulting and universal tracking for industries such as retail, travel, financial services, online classifieds and digital/media agencies. The company was founded in 2009 by ex-Amazon employees Ashish Mehta, Santosh Gannavarapu and Anubhav Sonthalia. Sokrati's clients include Yebhi.com, Tradus.in, Timesjobs, SimplyMarry, Indiamart, Insidejobs, Fashion and You, Magicbricks, Goibibo, Games24x7.com and Firstcry.com, among others. Inventus previously invested in Behavioral Retargeting company Vizury. According to their website, Sokrati offers scalable search campaign management solutions, including keyword and Ad creative generation, work flow process optimization for creation of customized URLs on the basis of search keywords, self-learning and rule based optimization, auto generation of relevant themes on content networks, and advanced analytics solutions like tracking of multiple conversion parameters, as well as campaigns on Facebook. It's solutions appear to be significantly user analytics and metrics driven, which looks a lot like Pinstorm territory. It has also a universal tracking platform to enable clients to track performance for individual affiliates, Marketing Vendors, and Channels like Email, Search, Display, Search Engines, Social Media, with a single Pixel.
