If you haven't read it yet, do read what appears to be Nokia CEO Stephen Elop's "burning platform" memo to employees, leaked to Engadget, on the challenge that Nokia is facing from Apple (high end), Android (high and mid range), and from Chinese manufacturers (lower end). Elop writes that competitors are "taking our market share with an entire ecosystem. This means we're going to have to decide how we either build, catalyse or join an ecosystem."
