Update: We've received an email from UTV Corp Com clarifying that UTV New Media is the same as UTV Interactive. There's no further comment from the company, but the inference to draw from this is that MK Anand has taken over as CEO of UTV Interactive from Manish Agarwal. Earlier today: Senior level changes at UTV, on the digital front: MK Anand, CEO (Broadcasting) has been given additional charge as CEO (Interactive). Zarina Mehta, Chief Creative Officer (Broadcasting) will take on the additional responsibility as Chief Creative Officer (Interactive), while Lavina Tauro, Vice President will be Business Head (Voice Products) and Sameer Pitalwalla, Sr. Vice President is Business Head (3G). The entity, as per the announcement, will focus on interactive content across audio and video offerings on all platforms, particularly looking at leveraging 3G and 4G opportunities. This is similar to the mandate of UTV New Media (which launched the voice based Audio Cinema product under TN Prabhu). So how does the mandate of UTV New Media change with this?
