Apparently, Loop Mobile did not meet the eligibility criterion when it had applied for 2G spectrum. The company received spectrum in 21 service areas. Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has asked DoT to cancel Loop’s license. More at BusinessLine. Well, does it make a difference. Loop doesn’t appear to have expanded beyond Mumbai still: no revenue from other circles.
