Spice Digital COO Vinish Kathuria Leaves To Join Greater Pacific Capital Backed Firm

Vinish Kathuria, COO at Spice Mobility company Spice Digital, has left the company. According to the Spice Digital website, Kathuria was in charge of its Enterprise Business Unit and Mobile Internet initiatives, covering Voice, SMS and Mobile Internet.

Speaking with MediaNama, Kathuria confirmed is departure, and said that he is joining a firm in the digital (Internet and Mobile) infotainment space, targeting the global market, especially India and China. He declined to name the venture, or the specifics of the business, but said that the company is backed by UK based Private Equity fund Greater Pacific Capital that targets businesses in India and China.

Kathuria was previously President (Strategy and Business Development) at Spice Digital subsidiary Mobisoc, before the restructuring, and has also worked with Microsoft, Deloitte Consulting and Infospace. Another restructuring is under way at the Spice Group, with Spice Televentures merging with Spice Mobility. That move has received shareholder and creditor approval.
