Yatra Appoints Raja Natesan As COO
Online travel agent Yatra.com has hired Raja Natesan as its Chief Operating Officer. Natesan was previously Chief Operating Officer of travel software maker Interglobe Travel Quotient the official distributor of Galileo and Worldspan in Asia Pacific and has 19 years of experience in the travel industry, we learn via Alootechie.
At Yatra, he will will be in charge of the overall business of the company including structuring policies and developing new strategies. Natesan, prior to other roles including Regional Manager – South East Asia at Kingfisher Airlines, also founded a training firm called Keep the Change Management Consulting Pvt. Ltd: interesting name! In September we reported that Nikhil Rungta, Head of Marketing at Yatra had moved to Google India as Head of Marketing.
Krishna Prasad Moves To Dentsu
Krishna Prasad, executive producer at MSN India for 8 years until he resigned in October 2009 has chosen Japanese advertising agency Dentsu’s Indian setup to join. He will be heading its digital division, reports Afaqs.
Prasad, or KP as he is known in the industry circles, will have his hands full with the bustling advertising market in India. MyToday recently launched 2 premium products, and another Japanese firm Itochu recently picked up a minority stake in mobile marketing company Affle. Samsung India Hires Atul Jain
Atul Jain has been appointed as Vice President- Sales for Samsung India’s Mobile division, reports Telecomyatra. Prior to joining Samsung, Jain was Director Sales at Russian consumer services conglomerate Sistema, which owns a majority stake in MTS in India. Jain has also worked at Bharti Airtel, Godfrey Philips, Jumbo Electronics and McDowells.
