News Digest: Yatra Lexulous Yahoo, DoT, FDI, Essar Group, SulekhaB2B & More

Yatra & Lexulous On Yahoo India Homepage Yahoo India has added Online Travel Agent Yatra and word game Lexulous to its home page. These are the first Indian add-ons that we've seen on the site, after it was redesigned in July, although the redesign was launched with partners Dainik Jagran already there. Some of our readers might remember Lexulous from the run-in they had with Hasbro. It's interesting to note that though all the other tabs have a pop up when you move your mouse over it, Yatra does not. You have to click on it and then the site opens on the same tab. The MobileStore Acquires X-Cite Essar Group's The MobileStore, has announced the acqusition of Impact Retail Pvt Ltd for an undisclosed amount. Impact Retail which is a franchisee of the Al Ghanim group from Kuwait, ran its business under the brand X-Cite. Essar will take over and rename all seven stores of X-Cite to The MobileStore.  (Read more at Business Standard) ATC To Acquire Stake In Essar Infrastructure American Tower Company is to buy controlling stake in Essar Infrastructure Private Ltd for $350-400 million and the deal is to be announced in January. In March, ATC had acquired the tower assets of XCEL Telecom for a consideration of Rs 800 crore.
