Nokia To Launch Financial Services Nokia will soon launch ‘Nokia Money’ its financial and banking services in India. They are in talks with six banks for the same and plan to utilize its own network of 1.9 lakh  phone retailers and dealers who will act as banking correspondents. Nokia expects to launch its first Nokia Money service early next year. (Read more at The Economic Times) Handygo Services For Fishermen After partnering with the India Meteorological Department to provide farmers with meteorological inputs and details on sourcing bank loans as well as mandi rates through IVR and GPRS, VAS provider Handygo has launched advisory services for fishermen across the country. The service helps fishermen access relevant information on potential fishing zones, wind speed, wave height along with the weather suitable for fishing.
