Weekly Digest (10th July-17th July 2009)

Agenda For The Week

While the main talking point from last week was the launch of Rediff’s new, minimalist look – and quite of our readers have panned the new design – this week will see a focus on financial results from Telecom, Digital & Media companies for the first quarter. Q4 had been weak for non-mobile companies, and many, adopted cost-cutting measures. Market sentiment appears to have improved post the elections. Watch for the following key earnings results at MediaNama this week, among others:

22nd: Cybermedia, NDTV
23rd: Airtel, Info Edge, Idea, Microsoft, Telenor
More at our Earnings Calendar: July 2009

23rd-24th July: Assocham Global Telecom Summit, Delhi
25th July: Proto.in, Pune
