Idea Cellular Demerger Deferred; Roll Out Update - The Ahmedabad High Court has granted a period of six weeks to Idea Cellular, deferring its merger with Spice Communications and the de-merger of their 2 overlapping licenses in Punjab and Karnataka circles. The operator has announced it will be present in all 22 circles by the end of this fiscal. Kolkata and other circles in West Bengal, north-eastern states and J&K will be connected by Q3.
