Times Business Solutions COO Rajeev Gaur Puts In His Papers

MediaNama has learned from multiple, reliable sources that Rajeev Gaur, COO of Times Business Solutions Ltd (TBSL) has put in his papers. TBSL owns and runs the online classifieds business of the Times of India Group, including the real estate portal MagicBricks, jobs portal TimesJobs, matrimonial portal SimplyMarry, general classifieds YoList and advertising booking service Ads2Book. On being contacted by MediaNama, Gaur declined to comment on these developments; Times Business Solutions also offered no comment. We're told that Gaur has not yet finalized his next move.  At Times Business Solutions, Gaur was second in command to R. Sundar, the current CEO of TBSL. His resignation comes after a tough few months at the company; we had reported layoffs in the Times Group  in December, and have heard that TBSL is among the worst hit. Gaur had been associated with the Times Group for nearly two decades, and was involved with launching the Times Groups online initiatives.  Related:  -- Times of India Group To Lay Off Around 5% Staff Across Businesses? -- Yahoo India R&D CEO Sharad Sharma Resigns; Shouvick Mukherjee To Take Over -- AOL EVP (International) Maneesh Dhir To Step Down, Start Up
