Varun Singh, CTO of Web18 is moving on to start his own company, reports ContentSutra. The buzz on Singh’s move has been fairly strong – that he is leaving to start his own venture, and on being contacted by MediaNama, Singh told us that he has not put in his papers yet, and did not comment on plans for a move. Singh had joined Web18 from ITNation, where he was the Editor for TechTree (eventually acquired by UTV). He was appointed CTO of Web18 in 2007.

One97 Communications has appointed Sanjay Singh as its CTO. Singh joins from Dilithium Networks, where he was MD for India, and had set up the companys India operations.
