Online intercity cab aggregator AHA Taxis has expanded to 20 cities and towns including Mumbai, Pune and Shirdi in Maharashtra; Jaipur, Pushkar and Alwar in Rajasthan; Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh; Hyderabad, Tirupati, Srisailam, Vizag and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh; and Bangalore, Ooty, Mangalore, Coorg and Mysore in Karnataka. The company seems to be charging its regular rates for the cities that it has expanded to. For example, for Pune to Mumbai, the company charges Rs 2,000, Rs 2250 and Rs 2,750 for its Economy, Comfort and Premium services, whereas from Tirupati to Hyderabad, its charging Rs 7,650, Rs 8,200 and Rs 10,000 for its Economy, Comfort and Premium services. AHA now claims to be present in over 350 cities in the country. The company was founded by Amit Grover, Praveen Samariya, Kunal Krishna, Kumar Aryan and Shivam Mishra in January last year and lets its users pay for fares only one way (km based) as opposed to a round trip. It also lets users book a cab up to 6 months in advance, accepting card, wire, mobile wallet and cash payments on web and mobile app. Last month, the company appointed Shailly Tyagi as head of customer experience and Ghanendra Singh as head of driver-partner engagement.
