T-Series crosses 7B views on YouTube: Last month, T-Series said that it crossed 10 million subscribers on its main channel on YouTube, with an overall 7.7 billion video views. The company currently owns 16 channels on YouTube with overall 13.6 million total subscribers and 30 billion views.
DishTV Shemaroo tie up: In the same month, DTH operator DishTV had tied up with Shemaroo to launch a Miniplex, a service that lets users watch Shemaroo’s movie premieres every Friday, reports Indian Television. Shemaroo’s new media business represents 15.49% of the company’s total operational income, which stood at Rs 101.38 crore during Q3 FY16.
