IndiaCast has appointed Chief Financial Officer Sanjay Jain as the new head of international business, reports IndiaTelevision. All executives and heads under the International Business section along with outbound sales and international operations teams will report to Jain. Jain has been the CFO at IndiaCast for over 3 years; prior to this Jain has worked with other media groups including TV Today Network, and Zee Turner. Other top managerial changes: -IndiaCast’s UK business head Govind Shahi has now been assigned with an additional role of managing US region as its Business Head. Shahi has been with IndiaCast for over 3 years. Prior to IndiaCast, Shahi has worked with other media groups including Health Media and Zee TV. -The company’s Middle East & Africa (MEA) head Sachin Gokhale will now additionally head its Asia-Pacific (APAC) business operations as well. Gokhale with IndiaCast for over 4 years. Prior to IndiaCast, Gokhale has been with Star TV and Radio Mirchi. - Debkumar Dasgupta who is currently the Head of International Business and content sales has now been elevated as IndiaCast’s business head of Syndication, New Media & South Asia. Dasgupta has been with IndiaCast for over 4 years. Prior to this, Dasgupta has worked with Viacom’s MTV Networks, and Catvision Products. TV18 financials: Yesterday, Network18’s broadcasting subsidiary TV18 Broadcast posted a net profit of Rs 82.51 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 (Q1-FY17), compared to the net profit of Rs 78.29 crore from the preceding quarter.
