Online cab aggregator Ola has appointed Sunil Shirguppi as VP of engineering, and will be responsible for customer engagement and communication platforms for engineering. Shirguppi will also be responsible to enhance data science and machine learning at the company and work with Ola’s CTO Ankit Bhati. Prior to joining Ola, Shirguppi worked with Goldman Sachs as tech fellow and VP of data science for over 2 years and head of data sciences at LinkedIn for 5.5 years.
