India.com is a joint venture between Zee Entertainment and Penske Mediacorp, where Amar worked as the COO for about 2 years. Before that, he worked as the head of marketing at Times Internet*, where he joined as the marketing head of Times Business Solutions, and led marketing for Simplymarry.com and Ads2book.com for over 5 years. Amar also functions as the event chairman at India.com events and previously founded Pikboo.com where he was the CEO for about a year before which he headed Internet marketing at Citigroup for a year. He has also worked with Zee Telefilms as AVP of marketing for north India, brand and business manager at Indiatimes for about 2 years (after which he joined Paytm as VP of mobile marketing), assistant manager of direct marketing at Hindustan Times for about 4 years and at the Times Group as a senior officer of sales for 2 years.
