Snapdeal appoints Hardeep Singh as infrastructure head Snapdeal has appointed Hardeep Singh as its head of infrastructure, where Singh will be responsible for Snapdeal’s supply chain strategies, network design, infrastructure and special projects, reports VCCircle. Before joining Snapdeal, Singh worked as the head of supply chain and infrastructure at Bharti Retail for 7 months, before which he was the SVP of the same function at Bharti Retail for over a year. He also worked as the SVP or supply chain and logistics at Bharti Walmart, before which he was the CEO of Inlogistics for 2.5 years. Singh has also worked at Unilever as a regional category planning director, the national customer service manager of modern retail, and as a regional commercial manager for about 6 years. Prior to that, he has worked as a planning manager at Asian Paints for 4 years and as the SC process control manager at Madura Fashion & Lifestyle for 2 years. Most recently, Snapdeal hired former TaxiForSure chief technology officer Amitava Ghosh as vice president of engineering last month. In July, it appointed Govind Rajan as its chief strategy officer. In the same month, Snapdeal appointed Amit Choudhary as the senior vice president of corporate finance.
