Blubox raises $100,000 from angel investors Mumbai-based e-tailing platform Blubox has raised angel funding worth $100,000 from Ashish Jhalani, promoter of Etailingindia, with participation from Amit Jhalani and Supreet Singh, reports Vccircle. The funds will be used to further its expansion and upgrade its technological infrastructure. Founded by Harish Singla and Dipti Singla in 2012, Blubox helps users sell items online through e-commerce marketplaces like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Paytm, Shopclues, Lime Road, Jabong, Myntra, Homeshop18 etc. The company claims to connect brands/labels and e-commerce marketplaces through its end-to-end services ranging from product selection advisory, model photo-shoot and catalogue, order management to payment reconciliation. *** MeraDoctor raises undisclosed seed funding from IndiaQuotient MeraDoctor, an app developed by Mumbai-based health startup mHealth Ventures, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from IndiaQuotient and other angel investors, reports Vccircle. The funds will be used for user acquisition and improving the user experience. Currently a team of 35, MeraDoctor plans to double its team size in the coming months. Co-founded by Ajay Nair and Gautam Ivatury in 2011, MeraDoctor allows patients to consult doctors over text chats. The app claims to have had 200,000 downloads so far and makes consultations for around 4,000-5,000 patients every day. The users get one free consultation per month and rest are charged at Rs. 150 each.
