Amazon India has partnered with the Label Corp to sell the latter's collections from thetrunklabel.com and theclosetlabel.com on its platform. The collections are signature style merchandise of Bollywood actresses Malaika Arora Khan and Bipasha Basu. The Trunk Label, a Bipasha Basu brand, currently lists various clutches, necklaces, bags and other fashion accessories, while The Closet Label, a Malaika Arora Khan brand, lists various shorts, jackets, dresses and clothing products. As of now the Trunk Label lists 98 products while the Closet Label lists 130. The Label Corp currently offers various fashion clothing, accessories and home decor products, through its three brands, the Closet label, the Home label and the Trunk label. Other than the exclusive tie up with Amazon, the company also sell of its products through its own website. Focus on fashion: Last month, Amazon India had tied up with Kishore Biyani’s Future Group to sell products from Future Group’s portfolio of 40 fashion brands that claims to offer more than 10,000 styles. These include brands like Lee Cooper, Converse, Indigo Nation, Scullers and Jealous 21 among others. Amazon had initially forayed into the fashion vertical by launching its fashion jewellery & watches categories, in September last year. In fashion, it currently offers a variety of ethnic apparel, shoes, jewellery, handbags, watches, denims for men, sunglasses etc.
