FirstRide raises an undisclosed amount in funding from angel Teja Govind Online car test drive booking platform FirstRide raised an undisclosed amount in an angel round of funding from Teja Govind, the director of Hyderabad-based Sreemitra Townships Pvt Ltd., reports Vccircle. The startup said it would use the funds to organize test drive festivals in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. The startup claims to have previously facilitated over 1000 test drive bookings by working with 30-40 car dealers in Chennai, but due to issues related to infrastructure and manpower, it now plans to work directly with manufacturers to provide test drives and new car bookings. FirstRide currently offers its services for free, although its said it was working on introducing new revenue models. It also said it plans to expand its operations to Hyderabad, Chennai and in to foreign markets like the US and UK. Nanobi Data and Analytics secures funding from Firstsource Solutions Bangalore-based Nanobi Data and Analytics raised an undisclosed amount in funding from BPM company Firstsource Solutions, which picked up a minority stake in the startup, reports the Times of India. The two-year old startup offers enterprises a cloud-based, pay-as-you-use analytic-as-a-service solution to improve operational efficiency and drive revenues. Nanobi works through its app store called the Analytics Tree which contains a predefined analytics app, and lets businesses plug in their data sources to consume analytics-as-a-service.
