Amazon partners Patel Logistics for air cargo delivery Amazon has entered into an air cargo partnership with Patel Integrated Logistics for providing next-day delivery services to customers ahead of the festive seasons, reports the Economic Times. The company, which had rolled out its next-day delivery service last December, said the demand for next-day delivery was rapidly increasing in smaller cities and towns and this move would let it meet the demand. Patel Logistics has secured exclusive bookings from airlines including SpiceJet, Jet Airways and IndiGo to deliver Amazon’s products during the festive season and said it would setup a dedicated team to service its client’s needs. The company will be responsible only for the airport to airport delivery, the last mile delivery will be handled by other Amazon partners like Gati, FedEx and Blue Dart among others.
