A Google India spokesperson has confirmed Agarwal's departure. Agarwal was with Google for seven years (from 2007 to 2014), over five years of which he spent at YouTube. According to his LinkedIn profile, he was the head of YouTube content operations in South and South East Asia for a year and a half, prior to which he was the Head of Content Partnerships for YouTube in India.
