Price comparison service MySmartPrice raised Rs 6 Crores in funding from existing investors Accel and Helion in December 2013. With the money, the company plans to become a true horizontal player and will also be focusing more on its mobile strategy. It needs to be noted that it launched a revamped version of its app recently. The app has been downloaded more than 3 lakh times on Android devices. The website itself has grown 2-3 times over a year and now receives 9-10 million visitors a month. With the expansion, MySmartPrice will list prices of almost all products sold online in India. As of now it aggregates prices of electronics, books and fashion (added in November last year). The company had last raised funding in July 2012 from Accel and Helion after which it added fashion and books categories.
