Price comparison service MySmartPrice raised Rs 6 Crores in funding from existing investors Accel and Helion in December 2013.
With the money, the company plans to become a true horizontal player and will also be focusing more on its mobile strategy. It needs to be noted that it launched a revamped version of its app recently. The app has been downloaded more than 3 lakh times on Android devices. The website itself has grown 2-3 times over a year and now receives 9-10 million visitors a month.
The company had last raised funding in July 2012 from Accel and Helion after which it added fashion and books categories.
