Online event ticketing and registration platform Explara has launched event marketplace solutions which will offer end-to-end event management solutions to organizers. This will include pre-event, event-day and post-event solutions and Explara will be offering this solutions through its own app marketplace (mobile & web apps) and by partnering with third party service providers like venue booking services, event management companies and event support services. Explara says the marketplace is currently in beta with a few live apps with a few more apps in the works. At the time of writing this article, the marketplace offers email marketing services like Mailchimp and ExplaraEmailer with other apps like Entriz (entry management mobile app), BoxOffice (on-spot registration service), EventFeedBack and EventSurvey (for post event feedback) expected to launch shortly. The company claims that it is already working with more than 20 solution providers to offer their applications via Explara marketplace. Developer Program & APIs: Coinciding with this development, Explara has also launched a developer and marketplace program through which app developers, solution providers and service providers can offer their solutions and services through Explara platform APIs and integrations. For app developers, it supports API access through OAuth2 protocol and offers three types of APIs - event & registration APIs which allows developers to integrate Explara's event creation process, showcase their own event listings and attendee list; booking API which allows them to offer registration related services and publisher API which enables them to list relevant events from a specific event category on their website.
