With 2013 coming to an end in less than a month, Microsoft's search engine Bing has released its annual analysis of the most searched persons, songs, movies, sport persons, travel destinations and music artists for 12 countries including India at BingTrends.com. The India trends are: Most Searched Social Websites Facebook was the most searched website for the year, followed by Twitter and Skype. Myspace (people still use Myspace?) secured the fourth position while WhatsApp was at the fifth position. Others in the list include LINE, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram and Viber. Most Searched Persons Bollywood continues to dominate the list of most searched persons in India, accounting for nine out of the the positions with the lone exception being the cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who secured the fourth position in the list. Salman Khan topped the charts for the year 2013, followed by Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Others in the list include Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan. Most Searched Movies Race 2 was the most searched movie in India, which is quite interesting considering that the movie released in January this year and the buzz around a movie tends to die down after a few months of its theatrical release. This was followed by Chennai Express in the second place and Aashiqui 2 in the third place.
