TLabs, the incubation unit from Times Internet, has announced its fourth batch of startups, featuring BetaGlide, GetMeAShop, JiffStore, Labforth, Newsinshort, among others. TLabs provides seed funding of Rs 10 lakhs for 10% stake in the company, and mentorship in building the minimum viable product, apart from networking with VCs and angel funds. Here’s a look at the consumer internet and mobile startups in their current batch: BetaGlide: BetaGlide allows mobile app developers to gather information from their beta users and testers while they beta test their app before launch. It allows developers to send invites to testers as well as automatically capture information while the beta user uses the application. GetMeAShop: GetMeAShop provides an ecommerce platform and solutions for offline retailers. The company is still in beta and offers features such as custom domain, custom theme, tracking sales, tech support, among others. JiffStore: JiffStore is a mobile ecommerce platform that allows supermarkets to sell grocery online, while it allows customers to shop through its store. The mobile app is currently available on Android and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. LabForth: LabForth is a web-based solution for hospitals and reference labs. The company claims that it provides faster turnaround by automating the way orders are received and results are disseminated to clients. Features include calendar, electronic medical records, billing, reports, communications, patient access and free SMS.
