Remit2India, an online money transfer to India, has launched BillPay2India, a bill payment solution for NRIs to manage their bills in India. The company claims that this will remove an extra step of transferring money from local bank to bank in India to pay bills. The company has tied up with more than 100 service providers in India including credit cards, insurance, investments, gas, electricity, mobile, among others.


SeventyNine, a Mobile Media Distribution and Analytics platform, has partnered with Living Media India Ltd (India Today Group) to provide video and other ad solutions on its mobile properties including app. LMIL will use Seventynine’s App Jacket with video, rich media and regular banner ad inventory on Aaj Tak, Headlines Today, Business Today and India Today mobile properties.


AaramShop, an online grocery shopping that ties up with mom-and-pop grocery stores for orders, has expanded its operations to Pakistan, reports iamwire. AaramShop.pk, launched in beta, currently has 23 Aaramshops in the city of Karachi. It is currently offering products in categories such as edible oil and ghee, rice, lentils, daal, baby care, water, among others. In India,  AaramShop claims that there are over 2891 retailers across 30 cities in India that use their service.


BrainBees Solutions Pvt Ltd, that runs baby and kids product website FirstCry and health & personal care website GoodLife.com, has launched subscription service on both the sites, reports Techcircle. FirstCry will offer subscriptions on products such as baby diapers, while GoodLife will offer subscription on products in categories such as  health & fitness and beauty & personal care.



Amit Bhartiya, Managing Director and Vice President (Mobile Advertising), Komli Media has quit the company, reports TechCircle. Its currently not clear on what Bhartiya plans to do next.

Bhartiya had joined Komli three years ago as the Business head (lead generation) in June 2008, where he apparently built operated two lead generation ventures – Loanraja.com and Tripraja.com. He was also responsible for managing Komli Media’s audience measurement system ViziSense and its mobile advertising and publishing network Komli Mobile.

Prior to this, Bhartiya was the co-founder of Baazee’s B2B Motors business, which was later renamed as eBay Motors India following eBay’s acquisition of Baazee. Besides this, he’s also had stints at Burson Marsteller and Bidorbuy India which was later sold to Baazee India.
