Emprenure Labs which operates the online recruitment solutions provider InterviewMaster has raised undisclosed amount of funding from the angel-backed startup accelerator VentureNursery. Its currently not clear as to how the company plans to use the funds raised.

Founded in 2011, Bangalore-based InterviewMaster offers automated video interviewing solutions to mass hiring recruiters. The company currently offers three different solutions – Corporate Recruitment solutions, Practice Interview Solutions and Admission Management solutions.

The Corporate hiring solutions allows recruiters to pre-screen interview candidates and evaluate their performance before a job interview, thereby reducing the recruiters time and cost. The company claims that the solution also allows recruiters to manage the entire recruitment process right from creating a job position, accepting applications, shortlist candidates based on a specific criteria, conduct and evaluate video interviews, make candidate selections based on a specific cut off percentage and publish them.

It claims to have clients from small and medium enterprises to very large corporations including ABB, Allegis, Randstad and Wockhardt Pharma among others. Clients can either pay Interviewmaster based on a specific number of interview instances or opt for a ‘pay as you use’ option, however the pricing of these services aren’t disclosed.

Besides this, it offers practice interview solutions, which allows college placement cells or coaching institutes to create practice tests using pre-recorded video questions, evaluate the student’s performance and provide performance reports to students.

InterviewMaster also provides admission management solution which helps universities and business schools to manage the entire admission process  including creating the application, payment collection, shortlisting probable candidates, conduct and evaluate video interviews, publish results and receive the candidate’s admission acceptance.

Other Players: Blume Ventures-backed CareerVita also offers video-based recruitment solutions for pre-screening potential job applicants and conducting virtual job interviews. It had claimed to have customers like Global Academy of Technology among others.

HT Media’s recruitment portal had also partnered with Humanitics Dimensions Software to launch a video interview service called ‘Shine InterVIEW’ in February 2009, however its not clear if the company continues to offer this service, since there is no mention of it on Shine website at the time of writing this article.
