Industry Moves: Zapak, Akamai Technologies, Siti Cable And Tata Teleservices

Reliance Entertainment Digital's Zapak has appointed Shard Sharma as National Sales Head for all businesses under Zapak with effect from April 2013. Shard will be responsible for managing their teams in Mumbai and Delhi and will be reporting to Chaitanya Prabhu who heads Zapak's gaming business in India across carriers, OEMs and advertisers. Shard has 13 years of experience in sales. Prior to joining Zapak, Shard worked at Sify as Regional Manager - North, East and West for 3 years between 2010-2013.  He has also worked as Senior Manager at Rediff, Account Group Head at Web18, Manager at Webdunia, among others. ****** Akamai Technologies has appointed Sidharth Malik as Vice-President and Managing Director for Akamai India reports  Business Line.  The report states that Malik will be based out of Bangalore and will report to Sanjay Singh, Senior Vice-President and General Manager of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Prior to joining Akamai Technologies, Malik worked as Senior Director of the Developer Platform Business at Microsoft India, Managing Director, South Asia for Telelogic AB, Country Manager with IBM Rational India, Area Vice-President at Salesforce.com and Sales Manager at Tata Elxsi India. ****** Siti Cable Network has appointed V D Wadhwa as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will report to Subhash Chandra, chairman, Siti Cable, reports Afaqs.com. The report says that Wadhwa will be responsible for growing the organisation through digitization and will be based out of Noida. Prior to joining Siti Cable, V D Wadhwa has worked with Timex Group India Limited for 14 years in various roles…
