Singapore based online marketplace for media buyers and sellers of outdoor and OOH media, EatAds is expanding its to India with a free-to-list and no commission business model, reports Network2Media. The report states that EatAds plans to soon launch buy-side and sell-side features along with their existing search feature and are also in discussions for their next round of funding. To use EatAds service, media owners are required to sign up on their website. Their website lists all the OOH media available in each locality along with the details of the bill board/hoarding, the available dates, price per months, contact details of the seller, among others. Buyers can access all this information without signing up on the website. EatAds.com is currently operational in Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Bangladesh, Thailand, Nepal, France, U.S.A, Greece, Canada, among others. The website claims to have over 6000 ad listings and over 100 media owner accounts. Indian clients of EatAds include Times OOH, Bright Outdoor, Graphisads, Roshan, Midas, among others and it seems to offer around 3850 ad listings for India at the time of writing this article. Other players: Ad Home.com is a direct competitor to EatAds.com with presence in India, among other countries. Vubites is another offline advertising player that addresses the television advertising space. Vubites competes with another startup, called Amagi which is already operational in 35 ciites including Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Bangalore, covering Star News, and Aaj Tak and Headlines Today from TV Today.
