ApnaCircle.com apparently has company pages which get created by themselves. We got an email yesterday from them, indicating that a company page has been created for us, along-with a verification link. That was followed up promptly by another email indicating that a profile had been created for us, and with a generic password. This was followed up with another mail informing us how to improve our company pages account. As far as we are concerned, this action of creating an account was completely unsolicited. It would also be highly unlikely that the account could have been created by an external party, since the verification link came to us, and despite us not clicking on it, the account was created. Below are somewhat partial screenshots of the emails we received, followed by the text of the three emails we've received. ApnaCircle company pages were launched in September last year. Makes us wonder about how many of the company pages they've set up so far are voluntary. This is, of course, besides the fact that their passwords don't appear to be hashed and salted. ApnaCircle was apparently acquired by French business networking site Viadeo in 2009. ----- Email 1: Hello Nikhil, Congratulations on creating the MediaNama Company Page.
