Mobile VAS provider TechZone has officially inked a tie-up with the news channel India TV to serve as its technology partner, reports IndiaBlooms. While the deal period or the financial details of the partnership were not disclosed, Techzone said that IndiaTV will be using its short code 56060 to conduct on-air polls, contests and other audience interaction initiatives. The channel will also offer a branded WAP portal featuring video content from its catalogue. The company claimed that the service has received more than 80,000 hits in less than a month since its launch. *** B2B mobile value added services company DigiVive has partnered with Videocon Mobiles to preload its mobile TV app nexGTv in Videocon's VT71 and Videocon VT10 Android tablets. The company says that through this application, users can view over 100 live television channels and video on demand content along with nexGTv's recently launched music channel. DigiVive claims that nexGTv currently has 8.5 million users and it clocks around  20,000 downloads every day. nexGTv is currently available on iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Nokia phones. *** After launching its Android app in August last year, GupShup has now extended its GupShup messenger app to other platforms like iOS, BlackBerry and the web.
