Ayojak.com, an online ticketing & event management solutions company, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from HBS Alumni Angels, Blume Ventures, and Srijan Capital in an angel round. The funding was closed in January 2013, and as a part of the funding, Ravi Gururaj of HBS Alumni Angels will be joining the board of Directors of Ayojak. The company claims that the funding raised will be used to launch new products in segments such as training & educational institutions, seminars, workshops, lifestyle activities, last minute tickets, adventurous trips and social activities. In a telephone interview with MediaNama, Santosh Panda, founder and CEO at Ayojak, informed that Ayojak will be launching soon an entry management application that event organizing companies can use to manage their event ticketing on mobile devices and tablets. Launched in 2009, Ayojak.com offers am online suite of event solutions platform offering four services such as event ticketing/registration software for ticketing, conference, RSVP, charity; payment processing (online, retail, cash-on-delivery); event marketing and logistics. The company claims that it has powered Live in Concerts, World Series Hockey, Patna Marathon, Joy Run, India Resort Fashion Week, among others. Signure Technologies Private Limited, which runs Ayojak, has offices in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi. Other developments In June 2012, KyaZoonga, the online sports and entertainment ticketing company, had launched iTicket, a Do-It-Yourself” (DIY) online service that allows event organizers to sell event tickets.
