HarperCollins Partners Indiblogger.in To Publish Bloggers’ Short Stories

HarperCollins India, the publishing company, has partnered with IndiBlogger.in to offer bloggers a chance at getting their articles published. The bloggers in the IndiBlogger.in network who share their 'Real Love Stories', will get a chance to get published in 2013 in a book published by HarperCollins. Indiblogger will then select 300 stories based on votes and quality of content. Upon selection, bloggers will have to write 3000-4000 words short stories, which HarperCollins will collectively publish in 2013. The campaign is an attempt by HarperCollins to promote the novel 'Just Married, Please Excuse' by blogger-turned-author Yashodhara Lal. Lal will also be mentoring the participating bloggers for the contest. These bloggers might otherwise not get a chance a be published. Although there are numerous bloggers-turned-authors out there, it's difficult for authors to get in touch with publishers. Other players: This is…
